Viewing Notes
If the game window does not appear:
This can vary between browsers and operating systems - the game appears in a small “screen” window with the title “Triple-R Engine v0.22a”.
Check for this or cycle through running programs by pressing Alt-Tab.
If the game window does not respond to key presses, this is caused by losing key focus. Click within the game window to re-focus on it, or if that doesn't work, select it manually from your start bar or Alt-Tab list.
Controls
- [Space Bar]
- Start Game / Confirm action or selection / advance menu. In-game: punch/activate object.
- Arrows Keys (or WASD)
- Move character
- R
- Attack with equipped weapon. Why the 'R' key? Because it's in the correct place for movement with WASD. 'Mappable keys' is a planned feature.
- T
- Talk to character. After talking begins, press either T or [Space Bar] to advance the conversation.
This demo should be compatible with Java version 1.4.2 and later.
